How to customize hands in CS2 (CS 2)

In «CS2» you can customize the display of hands using console commands. This allows you to change their position, appearance, and even enable them if they were disabled. Here’s how to do it:

1. Enable the console

Open the game settings, go to the «Game» tab, and enable the «Enable Developer Console» option. Assign a convenient key to open the console, for example, the tilde (~).

2. Enable hand display

If hands were disabled, enable them using the command:

r_drawviewmodel 1

3. Adjust hand position

To adjust the hand position, use the commands:

• Move hands left or right:

  viewmodel_offset_x <value>

  (Recommended values from -2 to 2).

• Move hands up or down:

  viewmodel_offset_y <value>

  (Recommended values from -2 to 2).

• Move hands closer or further:

  viewmodel_offset_z <value>

  (Recommended values from -2 to 2).

4. Additional settings

• For the standard hand view, use:

  viewmodel_presetpos 1

These commands help customize hands according to your preferences for comfortable gameplay.
