How to remove hand shake in CS 2 (CS 2)

Screen shake in CS 2 can be annoying and reduce aiming accuracy. It occurs while running, shooting, or during explosions, but there are ways to minimize or completely remove this effect using console commands.

1. Enable the developer console:
   Go to "Settings" → "Game" → "Enable Developer Console." To open the console, use the tilde key (~).

2. Activate commands to reduce shake:
   Enter the following command in the console:

   cl_bob 0

   This command reduces weapon movement while walking.

3. Reduce sway while aiming:
   Enter:

   cl_wpn_sway_interp 0 cl_viewmodel_shift_left_amt 0 cl_viewmodel_shift_right_amt 0

   These commands reduce weapon model movement and stabilize your aim.

4. Additional settings for camera stability:
   If you want maximum stability, use:

   cl_bobcycle 0 cl_bob_lower_amt 0 cl_bobamt_vert 0 cl_bobamt_lat 0

These commands do not violate game rules and can be used in any game where the console is available.
