How to get 120 FPS in StandOFF 2 (Standoff 2)
Many players aim to increase smoothness in Standoff 2, including the 120 FPS mode. To do this, it is important to consider two key conditions: whether the smartphone supports a higher refresh rate and whether the game itself allows using this mode. If the phone screen operates at 90 or 120 Hz, the option to enable 120 FPS will be available in the graphics settings.
How to enable 120 FPS in Standoff 2
-
Check if your phone supports 120 Hz
120 FPS works only on devices whose screen supports 120 Hz or higher (90/120/144 Hz).
Check this:
Phone Settings → Display → Refresh Rate
Set 120 Hz (or 90 if 120 is not available).
If the screen’s maximum is 60 Hz — getting 120 FPS is impossible.
-
Enable 120 FPS in the game itself
Open Standoff 2.
Go to Settings.
Open the Graphics section.
Find the FPS Limit option.
Set 120 FPS.
If this option is not available — see reasons below.
Why there is no 120 FPS in settings?
Reason 1: Phone limits the game
Some Android devices automatically limit the refresh rate in certain apps.
Solution:
Settings → Apps → Standoff 2 → More/Advanced
Enable Fullscreen mode, High performance, No battery restrictions.
Reason 2: Power saving mode
When power saving mode is active, the game will not allow selecting 120 FPS.
Turn off:
• Power saving
• Maximum battery life mode
• Background process limits
Reason 3: Phone’s game mode required
Some manufacturers have a separate setting:
• Samsung: Game Booster → Performance
• Xiaomi/Redmi: Game Turbo → Max performance
• Realme: Game Space → Graphics → 120 FPS
Important: what NOT to do
