• CS 1.6 USSR is a unique thematic modification that completely transforms the classic shooter in the style of the Soviet era. All elements of the game have been carefully reworked: instead of standard maps, you will find locations recreating the atmosphere of the USSR of the 1970s–80s — typical Khrushchyovka courtyards, factory workshops, military bases, and even secret bunkers. Terrorist models have been replaced with underground black-market bandits, while counter-terrorists are represented by fighters of the Alpha and Vympel units in historical uniforms. Weapons have received new skins with Soviet symbolism, including the legendary AK-47 engraved with “Made in the USSR”.
• The developers paid special attention to sound design and details. Soviet marches and songs play between rounds, and character radio commands are voiced with phrases typical of that era. The interface is styled after Soviet posters with distinctive typography and symbolism. At the same time, the original CS 1.6 gameplay is fully preserved — all changes affect only the visual aspect. The build includes both reworked classic maps (de_dust2 in the style of the Afghan war, cs_italy as a Soviet base in Europe) and completely new locations created specifically for this project.
