  • The map “css_cache2x2” for CS 1.6 is an adapted version of the famous Cache map, which was popular in CS. It has now been redesigned for 2v2 gameplay in the classic Counter-Strike 1.6. In this modification, the map size has been reduced, making it ideal for battles between small teams, where every mistake or hesitation can cost the victory. The main elements of the original are preserved in “css_cache2x2”: the warehouse with crates, open spaces for attacks, and cover spots, but now all of this fits into a much more compact map size, speeding up the gameplay and making it more intense.
  • The main objective of the game on “css_cache2x2” remains the same: terrorists must plant the bomb at one of two sites (A or B), and counter-terrorists must stop them. However, in a 2v2 setting, the map gains new tactical features, since small teams require players to have excellent coordination and the ability to make decisions in fractions of a second. The map space is limited, and any careless movement can lead to an immediate encounter with the enemy. The map offers many points for cover and attacks, such as the warehouse with crates, central squares, and different levels, giving players opportunities for varied maneuvers and unexpected assaults.
