How to create a Russian nickname in CS 1.6

If you want to stand out among CS 1.6 players and make your nickname unique, try using Russian characters. This can be done quite easily in a few steps. The simplest way is to change your nickname in the config.cfg file, located in the game folder. Open this file with any text editor, for example, Notepad, and find the line name "your_nick". Replace your_nick with your desired name in Russian, for example: name "Вася". Save the changes and close the file — now you will appear in the game with a Russian nickname.
An alternative method is to use the CS 1.6 console. Launch the game and open the console (usually with the "~" key). Enter the command name "your_nick", where your_nick is the Russian name you want to use in the game. After entering the command, press Enter, and your nickname will be updated to Russian.
