How to change and customize the HUD in Counter-Strike 2 (CS 2)
The HUD (Heads-Up Display) in Counter-Strike 2 is the interface that shows key information about your character: health, armor, ammunition, and money. Customizing the HUD allows you to make the interface convenient and suited to your playstyle. Here’s how to do it.
The first thing you need to do is go to the game settings.
In the “Interface” section, you will find the basic HUD settings:
- Color scheme. Choose the color of the interface elements so they are more visible during gameplay.
- Transparency. Decrease or increase transparency so the interface doesn’t distract you from what’s happening on the screen.
- Positioning. You can change the position of certain elements, such as the mini-map or team information.
For more detailed customization, use console commands:
cl_hud_color— sets the HUD color scheme. For example,cl_hud_color 5makes the interface purple.cl_hud_scale— adjusts the size of the interface. Use values from 0.5 to 1.5 to increase or decrease it.cl_hud_background_alpha— changes the background transparency level.
You can also further customize the radial buy menu:
- Open the radial menu customization.
- Drag frequently used items to convenient positions.
- Save the changes to speed up the buying process during a round.
Try experimenting with the settings to find the perfect balance between convenience and functionality. A customized HUD will help you navigate the game faster, focus on your actions, and win more matches.
